Lahinch Open 2009 Posted Sunday, April 26 2009 by cliodhna Here are the results from the open 1st Peter Conroy 2nd Ollie OFlaherty 3rd Stephen Kelleher 4th David O Loughlin U16s 1st Donagh Cronin 2nd Lorcan Casey 3rd Cian Cagney 4th Jack McGuinness Conditions were fairly wet and miserable but cleared to a great day and waves. There was a great turnout for the sandcastle competition and the introductory surf lessons.Many thanks to all those who helped out at this fun event. We would like to thank the following people, the parents who helped out, our judges, the face painters, Celtic T for the venue, Lahinch Surf Shop for the power, The musicians, Dan and Rob and the Michigan lads, Kennys Bar, Shane Gilmore for the poster and prize, The Surf Schools for the lessons, Christian Surfers for the amazing tent and helping with the BBQ, Peter Conroy for all his help and all the members of the WCSC and many more
