Denny Irish Teams set for International Success

The Irish Surfing Association has confirmed the Denny Irish Surf Team and the Denny Irish Junior Surf Team set to compete at the World Surfing Games and European Junior Surfing Championships.

The World Surfing Games is scheduled to take place in Costa De Caperica, Portugal from the 10^th to the 19^th October. Ten Irish surfers

 will compete at this prestigious event lead by manager, Stevie Burns and coaches, Pascal Devine and Marcus Dias. The team, currently ranked 19^th in the World, will be aiming to improve on this ranking.

The Denny Irish Junior Surf Team will be travelling to Agadir, Morocco for the European Junior Surfing Championships taking place from the 28^th November to 6^th December. The junior team will be aiming to improve on their impressive 5^th place ranking achieved at the last European Junior Championships held in Spain in 2006. Fourteen young Irish surfers will compete at the Championships.
