Cillian Ryan, WCSC, will go on to the final of Rip Curl Groms in Newquay 4th/10th August. The under 16s final was run in tough conditions as the swell was dropping.
The Rip Curl Groms started on Saturday with small waves, heats were run until 1 pm because of the tide and dwindling surf. Sunday morning saw glassy 1-2 foot waves in sunny conditions where the groms were full of enthusiam for their heats. The WCSC would like to thank all those who helped out and Rip Curl for bringing the event here
